David G. Combs, CLU ChFC CFP

Great South Benefits Group Inc. has operating direction from David G. Combs who has 18 years experience in the life and health industry. David is effective in directing employers with their many employee benefits requirements. His primary efforts are with LARGE GROUP benefit design, implementation and service issues.

David began his career as group marketing representative for a national insurance organization Mutual Security Life and American United Life Insurance Company, where he gained the experience and knowledge to form his own employee benefits brokerage agency. His credentials are Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Mid America Nazarene College, Olathe, Kansas. He has many licenses in life and health and has series 7, 6 and 63 registrations. Great South Benefits Group Inc. has continued its upward growth momentum and appreciates David’s many contributions.

Chip Renno, CIC ARM

Chip Renno, CIC, ARM is a 1985 risk management and insurance graduate of the University of Georgia and holds the professional designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Associate of Risk Management. For 20 years, Chip focuses on business property and casualty insurance for a diverse set of clients. He focuses on providing recommendations while representing over 40 insurance carriers through BB&T Stephens & Company. We are pleased to have Chip and BB&T Stephens represent Great South Benefits Group Inc. in this important area.

Sabir B. Wajihuddin

Our company is pleased to have formed an alliance with Sabir B. Wajihuddin. Sabir has 18 years of experience in the field of non-qualified executive benefits, and focuses on design and implementation of benefits along with their related funding and security issues.

Prior to forming Advaita Consulting, Sabir worked with three national brokerage and consulting firms and most recently was Regional Vice President of Principal Financial Services. His responsibilities have been and continue to be marketing and implementing EXECUTIVE BENEFITS and FUNDING including Elective Deferred Compensation Plans, Supplemental Defined Benefit Pension Plans, Executive Life Insurance Arrangements, Corporate Owned Life Insurance(COLI), Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), as well as creating new techniques to improve financial performance of corporate investments related to executive benefits.

Sabir is considered by many in the industry to be a leader on financial and economic matters related to the design of executive benefit plans and their related funding. He received his Bachelors of Art degree in mathematics from Reed College, Portland, Oregon, has a background in actuarial science, and holds life and health insurance licenses and series 7, 6, and 63 securities registrations.

John E. Snell

John E. Snell has worked in the financial services markets for 25 years, with the last eleven focusing on health, long term care, life, disability, and property and casualty. He has experience with individuals preparing for retirement and current personal income and insurance needs. John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina. His experience is available to SMALL GROUP and INDIVIDUAL plan design, implementation and service. We are pleased to have John associated with Great South Benefits Inc.
